My daughter/son/baby/husband is full of “character” and I’m worried we won’t get any nice shots.
Nothing could be further from the truth. It’s the “character” kids that often produce the best shots…provided they’re allowed to be themselves. No need to worry about that at all – that’s my job! Some are harder to capture than others, but my sleeves are really long and full of tricks to get the best out of your little ones. Your job is to relax, smile, and leave the kids to me.
How early do I need to book to secure my preferred date?
It depends. To ensure a high level of customer service, I only book a limited number of sessions each week. I can be booked out six weeks in advance, while other times I can be available that weekend, so If you have a specific time in mind, it’s best to contact me as soon as possible. If you’re expecting, please contact me as early in your pregnancy as possible. Although I schedule your newborn session by due date, I will fit you in before your baby is two weeks old, no matter when he or she arrives.
My baby has a mark/rash/scratch/bruise. Should I wait to have portraits taken?
Definitely not. It’s much more important to capture your baby at the right age than to wait for the perfect conditions. Each image from your session includes custom finishing and retouching. Any marks, rashes, or scratches can be easily removed afterwards…unless, of course, you tell us not to. Those tiny imperfections often help capture their personality.
I don't want our images used online or in social media, is this OK?
Absolutely. We are here to capture your family for you. While we love sharing images we love, what is most important to us is that you love, keep and cherish your family portraits.
Do you sell gift vouchers?
For sure. Gift vouchers begin at $200.
Do you do gift registries?
Yes. If you’re having a baby shower, birthday, or any other event, you can set up a personal gift registry. You’ll be provided with custom cards to include with your invitations, and your friends can contribute any amount. You’ll be presented with a beautifully packaged final voucher suitable to be opened at the event, or any other specified time.
How much will it cost for our portraits?
That depends on your individual needs and wants. Rest assured, there is never any high pressure sales tactics. You’ll purchase only what you want. You will be provided with a full and complete price list before you book your session, so there are no surprises.
Do you sell digital files?
All of my session types include options to purchase high resolution digital images. A complimentary low resolution, watermarked image is provided for every shot ordered in print.
What is your cancellation policy?
Session costs are non-refundable, but may be transferred to a different date. Children get sick and unforeseen issues arise. You’re welcome to reschedule, subject to availability.
Do you have payment plans?
Absolutely! I understand that good family photography is an investment and sometimes the right time for photos doesn’t come at the most financially convenient time.
