COVID-19 UPDATE

I thought hard about posting about the covid-19 virus, I like to keep this page focused on all things photography, but 2020 has thrown us a curveball and I wanted to update and reassure you on where we sit!

The plan for now here at Lilypad is business as usual, with some small essential changes to ensure our continued safety. And naturally, I will continue to monitor the situation as it evolves.

MORE LOCATION SESSIONS
I’ve opened up more spaces and opportunities for location sessions. Beautiful fresh air at our parks and beaches where it’s easy for us to keep our distance.

I can come to your home for your newborn session if that makes you feel more comfortable. Get in touch to chat about what that might look like for you.

NO PENALTY POSTPONEMENT
As always, please postpone appointments if anyone in your family is feeling unwell. The more notice, the better, however, even if it’s the day of your session or appointment, there will be no penalty for rescheduling.

LEVELED UP HYGIENE
From now on, when you enter the studio, I’ll ask you to sanitise your hands. Sanitiser will be available for clients on arrival and departure. I will also take sanitiser to all location sessions.

Studio hygiene has always been a priority. I have always regularly mopped floors and cleaned surfaces, this will now happen after every single session.

I am scheduling longer gaps between clients to allow for full cleaning. Washing of floors, cleaning of surfaces and wiping down of door handles, light switches etc.

As always, all fabrics and props your babies come into contact with are laundered and sanitised.

I’ll keep the studio toy box tucked away, if you are bringing kids to the studio, consider bringing toys or a video on your phone to keep them entertained.

THE BAD BIT ๐Ÿ˜Ÿ
No hugging, handshakes or high fives.

WHAT ABOUT POOL SESSIONS
The pool already needs to be sparkling clean before a shoot, and they are always at least 3 days apart to allow water clarity to come back up to standard. We will continue to check chlorine levels daily to make sure the pool is sanitised.

Please note this was written on March 16th and things might change, get in touch if you’d like to chat or clarify any concerns.

And here is a pretty picture, taken at a recent sunrise session!! Because there are enough photos of toilet paper and sanitiser in my feed right now๐Ÿ˜œ.
